  1. I'm new to your blog, I found it when I discovered your recipe for the boiled custard that I made for my little boy. I have two aunts who are from Mississippi, (and right now I can't for the life of me remember where they are from) and they came to Wisconsin when they married my uncles. These recipes are making me have fond remembrances of our family gatherings when I was growing up. They both could cook! I am seeing recipes that I have had but have not made. I'm wanting to try these recipes you have on your blog. Beans, cornbread, chicken salad, etc. These are sweet memories of my aunts and what they would bring to eat. Different from what I was normally served in Wisconsin, but just so good!
