Whipped Honey ButterPerfect on banana bread, cinnamon toast bread, or on those holiday yeast rolls!
Recipe: Whipped Honey Butter©From the Kitchen of Deep South Dish
Prep time: 10 min | Yield: About a cup
- 1 cup (2 sticks) of unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
- 1/2 cup of honey
Combine the butter and honey and whip with a fork, or beat in a mixer at high speed until light and fluffy.
Note: For a thicker consistency (like peanut butter) increase the honey to 1 full cup (or equal parts honey/butter - 1/2 cup of honey for every stick of butter - if making more or less than this recipe).
Variation: Add a couple teaspoons of cinnamon.
Tip: Spray your measuring cup with non-stick spray and the honey will slip right out.
