Parslied Corn



Parslied corn is just a fancy way of saying take some corn, add a little butter, some salt and pepper and a bit of fresh or dried parsley. Nothing to it, but it's a great way to dress up plain corn just a little bit, especially for the holidays.

Parslied Corn
From the Kitchen of Deep South Dish

1 (32 ounce) package of frozen corn or
   2-3 cans of whole kernel corn, undrained
2 tablespoons of water (omit for canned corn)
Kosher salt and freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
Chopped fresh parsley, or dried parsley flakes
2-3 tablespoons of butter

Place package of corn in microwave safe covered dish with the water. Cover and cook on high for 6 minutes. Remove, stir and continue cooking on high an additional 5 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with parsley and butter, stir and serve.
