Deviled Pork Chops

Boneless pork chops, topped with a sweet and tangy mustard layer, finished with crispy, browned panko breadcrumbs, then baked low and slow, makes for a tender and juicy chop, shown here with my Supreme Pasta Salad.

Deviled Pork Chops

The idea for these came from an episode of America's Test Kitchen that I caught on antenna television one day. The ideas were so clever and the pork chops looked amazing!

Of course, I had to put my own little spin on things, though there were some very significant guidance points that I did include in my version.

Deviled Chicken Wings

Chicken wings with a zing! Meaty chicken wings, coated with a lightly spicy rub and marinated in the fridge for an hour or up to overnight, baked and tossed with a simple, classic buttery hot sauce or a wing glaze.

Deviled Chicken Wings

I love chicken wings! I'm constantly playing around with them, trying different seasonings and different cooking methods - baked, air fried, smoked, grilled, slow cooker, and yes, even in one of those microwave Rangemate grills! {affil link} Each of them provides a little different feel and texture and benefits, but I've yet to run across a wing I didn't like.

Deviled Ham Salad

Back in the day, this deviled ham salad was made using an old-fashioned countertop grinder - the cast iron kind, that clamped onto the edge of the kitchen counter or a table.

Usually, a slice or two of bread would be run through first, just to sort of clean it of any dried, leftover residue, since they were next to impossible to clean well. Everything else was added to the grinder in order, and then the salad mixed together with a homemade mayonnaise.

Deviled Stuffed Crab

I so love stuffed crabs! My Mama almost always made these from freshly picked crabs and then stuffed the cleaned and sterilized crab shells as I have here, but most folks would just make these into patties, or put them in those aluminum crab shells, which is perfectly acceptable!
