Naan Flatbread Pizza

Quick and easy individual pizzas made using Naan flatbread.

Naan Flatbread Pizza

Y'all. I am a nut for pizza!

I love them homemade the best of course, though I'll take a good fresh made grocery store deli pizza too. My husband has a favorite chain he likes and they are really good too!

But, pizza like everything else has become a bit expensive these days. We usually do a medium half pepperoni and half veggie, with a military discount to save a little money. The Cajun goes nowhere without asking for a military discount!

Sausage and Pepperoni Pizza Pasta Casserole

A casserole layered in with pasta, pasta sauce, cheese, sausage and pepperoni. All the flavors of a great pizza, in a casserole! Half recipe pictured.

I mean, how can you not love something that has a stack of pepperoni on top, and while it may look like a pizza, there's pasta under there, another favorite of mine.

Yum, yum y'all!

I've been trying to get a new post up forever, so not a lot of chat today... some of you who are happening across this blog will be happy about that I'm sure! {I've seen those memes!}

Garlic Bread Pizza

Pizza made with French bread and a few of my own unique, personal twists that put it over the top.

Garlic Bread Pizza

A few days ago I went to Walmart for one of those bigger trips that usually involve multiple pet products and various and sundry household stuff. I couldn't resist picking up a few more Pioneer Woman goodies while I was there - these adorable little measuring cup bowls and some of the kitchen towels this time.

Easy Homemade No Cook Pizza Sauce

A quick, easy and delicious no-cook pizza sauce made with a tomato paste base and a nice blend of seasonings and herbs.

Easy Homemade No Cook Pizza Sauce

We had homemade pizza Friday and of course I used my favorite thin and crispy crust recipe. I have nothing against home delivery of pizza, and even deli or frozen pizza - not one iota. We enjoy them all ourselves at one time or another, but this dough comes together so quick and easy that you can literally be eating pizza faster than you can run to the store, or call and get one delivered to your door y'all. It's a just-right dough too and hands-down the best thin crust to suit my needs. I hope you'll try it sometime!

Stuffed Pizza Bites

Puffs of tender dough filled with cheese and pepperoni, and served with a side of homemade spicy Rotel marinara sauce, are perfect little bites for entertaining or just for snacking.

Stuffed Pizza Bites

QVC host David Venable was noshing on some little stuffed pizza bites during a recent Sunday In the Kitchen with David show in late January. The show was centered around appliances and tools for making recipes that were football centric for the Super Bowl.

I already have a terrific sausage bread that can be varied to make pizza bread, but those little bites just looked so darned good that I knew I had to make them. Of course, as always, I took quite a few liberties with his recipe, but David was certainly the inspiration behind these little bite sized jewels pictured here.

Upside Down Deep Dish Pizza Casserole

This dish gives you the flavor of pizza, but in an easy casserole form. Mozzarella cheese, meat sauce, and a batter that produces a crust-like layer, makes this casserole much like an upside down deep dish pizza. Add your favorite toppings!

Deep Dish Pizza Casserole

This recipe is really a casserole, but it sure fills the bill when you're in the mood for pizza, but lacking the time. Of course, homemade pizza from scratch, is always the way to go - and there's nothing that can really match it. But, let's face it. That's pretty much a weekend project for many of us.

Homemade Pizza

There's not a thing wrong with delivery pizza (except for the cost) or even grocery store pizzas, which we buy on occasion, but you just can't beat a good homemade pizza.

Tonight was gonna be "leftover" night where we sort of clean out the fridge and nosh on all the leftover goodies that are in there from all the cooking I've been doing. Or else if nothing appeals to my hubby, he'll just have a sandwich for dinner and I'll eat the leftovers instead.

But tonight I got a hankerin' for pizza instead, so guess the leftovers can wait till tomorrow. Good golly was it yummy!
