Thanksgiving Blessing Snack Mix

A cute favor to give your guests to serve as a reminder of exactly what the Thanksgiving holidays are all about.

Thanksgiving Blessing Snack Mix

I have been a great fan of Organized Christmas for years and ran across this recipe for a great - and meaningful - holiday snack mix that I had saved on my computer back in '02. Why don't you mix some up as favors for each of your Thanksgiving guests and be sure to pop by and visit this site for some other great holiday ideas, printables, recipes, tips and much more! They even have a printable tag already made for ya! How great is that?

Here's the mix.

Prep time: 15 min

Ingredients
  • 2 cups Bugles corn snacks
  • 2 cups small pretzels
  • 1 cup candy corn
  • 1 cup dried fruit or raisins
  • 1 cup peanuts or sunflower seeds
  • 1 cup of regular M & M candy
  • 16 Hershey's kisses
  • Thanksgiving Blessing Mix gift tags
Instructions

Mix everything except the kisses in a large bowl. Scoop out about 1/2 cup of the mix into small cellophane bags, and then add a kiss to each bag. Tie closed.

Print the gift tags and use a hole punch to punch a hole in each tag, run a ribbon through and attach to the bags.

Makes 16 bags.

I had never heard of this until my toddler made some at preschool. I will definitely hand these out as favors on Thanksgiving!
