Oven-Braised Atlanta Brisket

This brisket that rests overnight in a tub of chili sauce, Classic Coca Cola and onion soup mix, before baking, came courtesy of Beth one of our Facebook readers.

Leftover Brisket Meat Sauce with Rigatoni

I made this dish using the last of the leftover oven-braised brisket that I made for New Years. I'm actually surprised there was any brisket at all leftover because while it was a huge brisket, it was a dish The Cajun totally loved and devoured, but I'm glad we did have some leftovers because this pasta dish was excellent!

Slow Braised Oven Brisket

An oven braised beef brisket is a great way to get a lot of meat for little effort.

Of course, you don't necessarily need to buy a 10 pound brisket like I did, but if you do, you'll have plenty of meat to put up in the freezer for other meals. This method works on any size brisket and you'll need about one hour per pound.
