Social Media Roundup FALL FAVORITES 4

Like most of you, we also got a little blast of winter going on here right now y'all!

Course... in  a few days, we'll be right back to the 70s, which frankly is a more normal November range for us here along the Gulf Coast, believe it or not. Yeah, we don't see much of a fall around here!

I've worked on a few new recipes to share here lately, so those will be forthcoming, but in the meantime I thought I'd bring you another roundup for some fall recipes that have been recently shared across social media platforms from Deep South Dish.

Since some of y'all don't hang out on social media so much these days, these roundup posts give email subscribers a chance to revisit some of the recently social media shared content from Deep South Dish that may have been missed when they originally published, or even forgotten about as newer content has moved in.

Thanks so much for the positive feedback you've given me on this feature! With such busy lives, y'all are loving the "reminders" about other content.

Chuck 7-Bone steak, or other braising steaks such as bottom round, is low simmered with onion, bell pepper, green onion, and garlic, in a rich mushroom sauce.

Russet potatoes, slow cooked with onion, celery and chicken broth and finished with cream, prepared in your slow cooker.

A savory southern-style beef stew, made from chunks of seasoned chuck roast, a mixture of beef stock and water, loads of herbs, potatoes, celery and carrots, rich and loaded with flavor.

There is just something so heart-warming about a roasted chicken, isn't there? It's one of my favorite kitchen aromas. Here we're combining lemon with loads of garlic, roasting alongside onion, carrots and potatoes.

Sliced potatoes are tossed with onion in seasoned flour, then fried in a bit of hot oil, then covered and smothered with milk for a slow simmer. Simple, delicious comfort food.

A breaded and browned whole cut up chicken is slow cooked in a spicy sauce piquant.

A quick and easy, creamy corn chowder made with veggies, sautéed in bacon drippings, cubed potatoes and shrimp.

Crescent rolls stuffed with apple, cinnamon sugar and chopped nuts cooked in a buttery syrup. Easy and delicious!
