Social Media Roundup FOOTBALL 2 - What You Missed!

Social Media Roundup FOOTBALL FOOD 2 - What You Missed!

Well y'all, summer is about to roll on out of here!

I know that some of you aren't that happy about that because you actually have a winter that you're not looking forward to, but personally I'm ready to move on to some cooler temperatures. It's actually been a tiny bit less oppressive down here along the Gulf Coast for the past week, but it'll still be a ways to go before sweater weather shows up.

I'm looking forward to wearing my fleece Cuddl Duds y'all!

In that spirit, I'm not quite moving into the recipes of fall on my social media shares yet, so we're focused on mostly quick weeknight meals and football food because my husband, also known to y'all as "The Cajun," loves his football!

Here's the next round of what you may have missed on my social media - FOOTBALL 2!

Meaty chicken wings, coated with a lightly spicy rub and marinated in the fridge for an hour or up to overnight, baked and tossed with a simple, classic buttery hot sauce or tossed in a wing glaze. Try them in your air fryer!

Large shrimp, baked in a buttery seasoned beer, oil and vinegar sauce, great for a party, for football food, or the beach!

My version uses fresh cooked chicken, Louisiana hot sauce, ranch instead of bleu cheese dressing, bacon, and a mixture of cheddar and mozzarella cheeses. So good y'all!

A cold dip made with whole kernel corn with peppers, cheese, green chilies, jalapenos, Rotel, mayo, sour cream, green onion and seasonings.

Beef for sandwiches with a delicious homemade barbecue sauce made so easy with a slow cooker. Stick it in the crockpot in the morning or before bed and it'll be ready for game time!

I patterned this after a burger sauce once used by an old favorite and sadly now gone, little bitty, local burger joint in Biloxi called Jiffy-Jac. Loaded with flavor, it's a perfect sauce for burgers and those party meatballs.
Made with Mexicorn, green chilies, jalapenos, Monterey Jack and Parmesan cheeses, and red pepper flakes, is terrific served with corn chips or tortilla chips.

Not a pickling recipe, but a fun way to dress up some plain dill pickles with some sweet and spicy flavor. Super easy and y'all, everybody loves them! If you prefer them on the milder side simply eliminate the jalapeno and red pepper flakes.
