Social Media Roundup SUMMER 2 - What You Missed!

Social Media Roundup 2 - What You Missed

To recap from my previous Social Media Roundup, while I have an email alert (tap that link to sign up) that goes out whenever I post new recipes to the website, in case you didn't know, social media is where I share daily roundups of the past recipes.

To see all of the social media round-up posts, tap/click here.

Join Deep South Dish on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest.

Unfortunately, although I do continue to share to social media on a regular basis, it seems that quite a few folks have left those venues these days. Because of that, I'm publishing an occasional summary of those roundups here on the website for Deep South Dish readers who primarily follow the website via email alerts.

This will give you a chance to catch up!

Here's the next round of what you may have missed on social media! Tap or click on the title or the photo for any recipe you want more information on.

Save my other SUMMER Social Media Roundups on Pinterest for your summertime meal inspiration!

Oven-Baked Ribs

When you don't want to fool with the grill or smoker, these fall off the bone spareribs will satisfy that rib craving. Slow baked in the oven, they'll hit the spot!
A lot of you other home cooks love oven baked ribs, but did you know that you can "bake" them over indirect heat on your grill too!

Root Beer Glazed Drumsticks

Grilled chicken is first brined in a salt water solution, then given a light rub, and finally glazed with a root beer reduction.

Wedge Salad with Homemade Comeback Thousand Island Dressing

Iceberg wedge salad with Homemade Comeback Thousand Island Dressing and garnished with thin slices of red onion, sliced grape tomatoes, chopped pimentos and crumbled bacon.
This homemade comeback Thousand Island dressing is the star here, served over a wedge of crispy iceberg lettuce. Hit it with your favorite garnishes, like thin slices of red onion, sliced grape tomatoes, chopped pimentos or roasted red bell peppers and crumbled bacon.

Burger and Meatball Sauce

A tangy enhanced ketchup sauce, loaded with flavor, perfect for burgers and meatballs.
This sauce will make your burgers and meatballs shine y'all! A tangy enhanced ketchup sauce, loaded with flavor, I patterned it after a special sauce from a now gone local hamburger stand. Try it!!

Chocolate "Frosty" Style Ice Cream

A quick and easy ice cream using chocolate milk, or Yoo-hoo chocolate drink, with sweetened condensed milk, chocolate syrup, and a small tub of Cool Whip. It tastes remarkably similar to that Frosty we all love.

Fresh Fruit Salad with Lime and Mint Dressing

Fresh melon, strawberries, blackberries, blueberries or raspberries, with watermelon, peaches and grapes tossed with a lime and mint infused simple syrup.
