Nutella Crescents

What a wonderful way to indulge in Nutella - wrapped in a sweet crescent. Tasty and really simple too - you will LOVE these!

You just need some Nutella, cinnamon sugar mix, pulverized walnuts (or your choice of another nut) and a tube of good ole crescent rolls.

Unroll the crescents.

Spread each triangle with a bit of the Nutella.

Next you'll want the cinnamon sugar. I keep some cinnamon and sugar mixed up in an old spice jar just so I have an excuse to sprinkle some on some buttered toast - yum!

Sprinkle that generously over the Nutella. If you don't want to do cinnamon, just sprinkle with some powdered, granulated or even brown sugar. Remember that you're aiming for sweetness since the crescent rolls are not sweet.

I always keep a variety of nuts in my freezer, so I just took a couple handfuls of walnuts and broke them up in the food processor. Just pulse them though - you don't want to end up with walnut butter!

Sprinkle the nuts on top of the cinnamon sugar and Nutella. Chopped pecans would be excellent too, but my hand found the walnuts first, so that's what I used.

Then just roll up the crescents. I never have been very good at rolling these perfect. Oh, who cares anyway!

Doesn't that look good already?

Line 'em up on a parchment covered baking pan.

I just want to snatch one up and eat it raw! But don't. Bake them at 375 degrees F for about 11 or 12 minutes or until lightly golden.

Let them cool, drizzle with some melted chocolate and what the heck, give it a sprinkling of powdered sugar!

And do your best not to eat every single one of them!
