| A collection of Christmas recipes from Deep South Dish. |
I've included my Deep South Southern Christmas Menu below, along with many of my favorite recipes that you might like to consider for your own Christmas dinner menu. This list of menu items is by no means conclusive - it is just a list of the dishes that I have personally prepared and posted since starting my website back in 2008. Some are certainly Southern regional - you likely won't be finding jambalaya or seafood gumbo in many places of the south for Christmas dinner unless you live where we do, along or near the coast. I hope you find some ideas and inspiration here to host your own southern Christmas dinner!

If you think this sounds yummy, I'd sure ♥ it if you'd click to pin it, tweet it, stumble it, or share it on Facebook to help spread the word - thanks!

Fabulous southern line up..just doesn't get better than any of these recipes! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Mignon!
ReplyDeleteHoly moly... I need a nap just from reading the list. These recipes look yummy and food-coma-inducing! :)
ReplyDeleteIt has taken me forever to read through this list, because just about every recipe mentioned has some kind of childhood memory attached to it. Lots of love and fun memories grew out of our family kitchen. Thanks for posting this, and I am definitely bookmarking it! Anytime I need to remember how to make something of Mamaw's, Granny's, or Momma's, I know where to go!

ReplyDeleteThank you so much Brandy! That is what I want this website to be - a place where folks can come to look for those special old recipes they have fond memories of. Welcome & hope that you continue to visit here with us!!
ReplyDeleteWow! I want all of the above recipies. Is it possible to Save using Zip list or do I need to Save each one individually?
ReplyDeleteHi & Merry Christmas! You would have to go to each individual recipe yes. Some are coded, some are not. The recipe box is a new feature I added recently but I have to go back and add the code manually to all of the older recipes and it requires a bit of pre-coding too - so in other words, it takes a little while. I ran out of time and didn't get to them all here, but I will eventually.
ReplyDeleteHi Mary, How can I access my zip list recipe box without logging onto facebook? Love your recipes, many have become family favorites. Thank You!
ReplyDeleteHey Ann ~ You're welcome!! There are several ways that you can log into your recipe box, including using an email and password. If you signed up that way originally you can retrieve your password here: http://www.ziplist.com/recover_my_password if you originally signed up with social media, you might be able to change the method. Sign in and then go to the top right hand side where it says "My Settings" Hope that helps!
