Happy Thanksgiving Y'all!

This list of menu items is by no means conclusive - it is just a list of the dishes that I have personally prepared and posted since starting my blog. Some are southern regional - meaning you likely won't be finding jambalaya or seafood gumbo in many places of the south for Thanksgiving unless you live where we do, along or near the coast. I hope you find some ideas and inspiration here to host your own southern Thanksgiving. Enjoy!

  3. I know most people like the coca-cola ham.But for some who want a lil spin on the ham.Me and my dad came up with our own lil glaze that you might want to try. I like to put pineapples and cherrys around my ham. For the glaze i mix 1/2 a cup heinze 57,The remaining juice from the pineapples, about 3 tbl.Spoons of the cherry juice,1/4 cup dark brown sugar, and about 3 tbl. spoons spicy brown musturd.Mix well and drizzle over ham.You can put this on the ham before or after cooking.I useally put it on before and baste my ham while cooking. Its also great for pork chops and chicken.( I save the glaze and serve on the side to drizzle on ham when put on a plate.I know it sounds funny but trust me it taste wonderful
